February=Love!

So February is a fun month for us because it's Valentine's Day and our anniversary all in the same week! We decided that we would stay home for V-day and go out for our anniversary. So I still made dessert and was planning on making dinner for V-day but it ended up that we just got a pizza! haha...We helped my mom with a young women's balloon fundraiser that day and the plan was that I was going to make a yummy dinner but we didn't get home from the fundraiser until almost seven and we were both exhausted so we just grabbed a pizza on the way home and watched a movie...lame i know but we had a fun night anyway! Then on Saturday we went to the Renaissance festival with my dad, sharon and the kids and it was fun! The cleavage is unreal and there are a lot of interesting people there but we had a good time. While we were there, Sheleen had texted Forrest and told him that we should come to Vegas and watch Heather play vball. It was already noon and we only had until Sunday night to stay because Forrest had to work Monday so we weren't sure if it would be worth it to go, but we decided it would be fun and be totally spontaneous...so we went!We got there at about 7:30 Saturday night and went straight to my favorite place on the strip, Serendipity3! Sterling and Sheleen were good sports and tried my fave dessert, the frozen hot chocolate and I think they liked it...i love it!

Then we woke up the next morning got ready for the tournament and went and watched some awesome volleyball! It is so cool to watch Heather, she is so awesome and I get so excited because I get to say I am related to her! Seriously, it amazes me how good she is at playing and how focused she is on the court and in school and what a good girl she is. I love Heather and am glad that we are friends and that I have gotten to know her so well. You are probably thinking that I sound ridiculous and that i am sucking up or something  writing this, but I really feel this way! :) plus, I am her number one fan...haha

Do you like our shirts??? I am really proud of them...especially forrest's, everyone loves it...
Then we drove back late Sunday night after walking the strip and eating a buffet! :) Monday was our TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Can you believe it??? These two years have been the best. I love Forrest more and more each day, he is the best guy for me and I know that we were meant to be with each other forever. We went out to dinner at a restaurant called Lucille's at Tempe Marketplace. It is a REALLY yummy barbecue place and we loved it!!!

                                                                 Forrest loved the ribs...

My cute necklace that Sheleen made me for Valentine's day!!!
We had a great time in Vegas and on our anniversary! Looking forward to our next year together :)

Finally ALL caught up!

I decided to update for each holiday instead of making it one big post...so scroll down for Thanksgiving, Fo's bday, Christmas, and New Years...Here is what has been going on the last few weeks...We had Heather's first tournament/ birthday and we decided to make shirts...they turned out sooooo cute! Everyone loved them! But I only took pics of Little Richard's though...

We went to Olive Garden to celebrate after her tournament...
We had a garage sale at my grandma's house which turned into a family affair...it was way fun and we made quite a bit of money!
Forrest started a new job, working with Richard doing termites and he loves it...
I helped Calli babysit Lindsey, Hunter, Hyrum and Little Richard last week and we made a scavenger hunt for them...they had so much fun with it! It was cute to watch them read each clue and then run to the next spot once they figured out where it was.

We are doing great and cannot believe that it is already February! 18 more days and then it's our two year anniversary! Crazy huh?? We love our ward and just got callings...I am on the enrichment committee and Forrest is the eleven year old scout leader. We are enjoying our new apt and I am still couponing and am enjoying my newest project of cooking freezer meals with my cousin/friend Dawna...seriously we struck gold and it is the best idea that we have ever had! They are soooo good and easy and cheap and we love them...So anyway, hope you are all doing well and i will hopefully update again soon! :)

New Years Eve/ Calli's birthday

We had a fun New Years Eve...we went out to Casa Grande and celebrated Calli's birthday at a place called Eva's. It has HUGE burritos and they are delicious! We then went to see Sherlock Holmes with them and it was really fun! After that we went to my dad's and set off fireworks and just hung out...it was fun. We had Calli's family party that Sunday and the kids had a blast helping aunt Calli open her presents! :)

Christmas 2011

We had a great Christmas! We started out with the Rogers Christmas Eve dinner...very fun night and such a fun tradition! These pictures are not in order but they tell the story...crazy and exciting present opening at the Leavitt's...the kids were soooo excited!

We got these cute matching headbands and Coach purses...we were excited!
Andi and her Justin Bieber blanket..

We got my dad a Ladmo bag for Christmas. He loved the show as a kid and talks about it all the time. Wallace and Ladmo came to town before Christmas and so Shalice went and got my dad the bag...he loved it!!!

We had a great Christmas and hope you did too!
